Bird Heart - Holly -  Lovespoon Gallery

The 'Bird Heart - Holly Lovespoon' is carved from a single piece of Holly and features; chain links, a bird with ribbon amongst foliage. The foliage merges into an art nouveau inspired panel frame that envelopes a central heart above the short stem and bowl. The back of the spoon continues the foliage theme with added flowers and the bird is replaced with a second, upper heart. No finish has been used on this lovespoon, only some hard wax final polish to preserve the natural whitness of the holly.
